River Bend Ranch, LLC is certified to feed and care for Naturally Designated Weaned Calves and Yearlings. We have met all the criteria and training for Certification of GAP, NHTC and Export Verification (EV) programs to enroll Naturally Produced Cattle. We are located 70 miles east of Denver right off of I-70, west of Limon, Colorado.

Totally Mixed Rations fed in bunk line pens or if your program requires winter fed on pasture, we can accommodate that as well.  Rations are sourced from locally-raised feed products and naturally certified mineral packages. We can accommodate groups of various sizes and sexes.

We can utilize your RFID tags to take individual weights during the feeding and pasturing seasons to send back valuable performance information.  If your cattle are not tagged, we can provide USDA approved tags for Natural backgrounding necessary to qualify for Natural Certified Markets.

Cattle can begin arriving early fall and we have summer grazing programs as well. This enables the producer to bridge the gap from weaning to placement in the feed yard.  We have working relationships with local feeders that can feed naturally and we can direct you in marketing programs.

As a producer in drought-stricken areas of the High Plains in states like Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, we know decisions to move your weaned calf crop off site can be difficult.  We have been in your position and understand the demands these decisions have on a stretched budget.
