A sunny day with moderate temperatures and gusty winds was the backdrop for another
great day of Red Angus cattle at Cross Diamond Cattle Company headquarters in
Bertrand, Neb. Scott and Kim Ford, along with their cooperators provided buyers and
guests with top-notch hospitality, outstanding cattle and plenty of opportunity for
fellowship between cattlemen and women. Buyers from 18 states were in attendance and
online.

Lot 1 for $26,000 sold to Gilroy Land and Cattle, Dalton, Neb. Crs Diamnd Landslide

Lot 35 for $25,000 sold to Randall and Jane Adolph, Mt. Carroll, Ill. Crs Diamnd Paydirt
684 is a son of ARO Paydirt 427 from a Hard Rock female.
Lot 62, consigned by Solid Rock Red Angus sold for $20,000 to Cross Diamond Cattle
Company, Bertrand, Neb. SR Colt’s Mission D432 is a TR Colt 45 UT806 son from a
Mission Statement daughter.
Lot 112, consigned by Right On Cattle sold to Larry and Cecilee Herd, College Station,
Tex. for $20,000. Right On Granite 6066 is a Crs Diamnd Granite 3273 son from a
Herald 854 daughter.
Lot 33 for $15,000 to Right On Cattle Company, Bertrand, Neb. Crs Diamnd Foundation
6055 is a son of SR Foundation from a Trend Setter 71S6 daughter.
Also selling to Right on Cattle of Bertrand, Neb. was Lot 5, for $14,000. Crs Diamnd

The top selling heifer was Lot 267, a daughter of Right On Antioch 3030, selling for
$7,000 to Calvin Smith, Wilmington, Ill.

daughter sold to Marie Ford, Bertrand, Neb. for $5250.
Lot 264, a Crs Diamnd Landslide 356 daughter from a Crs Diamnd Newman 2343
daughter sold to William Herd, College Station, Tex. for $5,000
Volume buyers were LeBlanc Cattle Company, East Bernard, Tex. with 15 bulls; Glenn
Cattle Company, Fort Morgan, Colo. with 10 bulls and Stan Ourada, Axtell, Neb. with 10
bulls.
The winner of the Ag Youth Initiative heifer drawing was Carleigh Laible, of Merna,
Neb.
